The Database is a ‘one-stop-shop’ of the judgments of the European Court of  Human Rights, as well as the summaries of the most important cases, commented by the experts of the field.  The cases that can be found there are mostly cases related to Albania or the countries of the Western Balkans, which are also translated on the language of the country, as to ensure the easy access of the practitioners to the jurisprudence of the court.  Despite being offered in English, the database offers in the language of the Balkans and Albania as well, all the publications and manuals of the jurisprudence of the ECtHR.

European Centre in cooperation with the School of Magistrates, will serve as the maintenance of the database and its enrichment with new cases, as to come closer to the Albanian lawyers and judges.

This project aims in ensuring the better applicability of the European Convention of Human Rights in the national level, through facilitating the access of the Court’s jurisprudence in the national language for all the judges, prosecutors, lawyers, law students and practitioners.
