The European Centre is implementing the project “Integrate yourself towards the trade market”, in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH – Migration for Development Program (PME). The aim of this project is to educate and orient youngsters towards professional education, as a valuable asset to become part of the labour market in a easier way, as well as raising awareness to say NO to illegal migration and informing them on regular options to migrate to Germany. The Center continues with the organization of informative sessions for 9th and 12th grade pupils throughout the country, during which, the Centre distributes a booklet, for the purpose of informing the youngsters. In the meantime, the Centre has started organizing regional forums in the framework of empowering youngsters, inviting personalities of different fields (professors, lawyers, journalists, etc.) who share their experiences of education abroad and the decision to return and contribute to their country of origin. The project will continue until October of the academic year 2018 – 2019.
