“Integration into the labor market – Yes, I can!”

The European Centre, in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH – Migration and Development Program (PME) is implementing the project “Integration into the labor market – Yes, I can!”.

Within the framework of this project, the Centre is organizing workshops in cities and administrative units all over Albania, with the aim to inform and raise awareness of the youngsters to say NO to irregular migration. In addition, the project’s objective is to orientate youngsters towards Vocational Education and Training (VET), in order to facilitate their empowerment and integration towards the labor market.

During the period September – October, the Centre concluded a series of 7 workshops in secondary and high schools, specifically in: Fier, Koplik, Bilisht and the administrative units Dajç and Bërdicë (district of Shkodra).

In the framework of the changes in the social-economic background of our country and the rate of consolidation of the civil society, being supported by the acquired experience, OSFA has started since 2003 a process of transformation aiming at focusing the activities in the public policies by making use of research policies, studies, lobbying, expertise, advocacy, citizen participation, etc. The institutional product of this transformation is the new structure called NOSA: Network of Open Society for Albania), where the European Centre is a partner of this process and is respectively focused in the field of European integration and regional cooperation
