Within the framework of the project “myRights! – enhancing knowledge on gender equality online” that the European Centre is implementing in collaboration with Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), the Centre organized a 4-days Training of Trainers during November, in the premises of the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination.
The training was organized with the People’s Advocate’s and Commissioner for Protection Against Discrimination’s staff, as front-line workers who deal with cases of discrimination in their day-to-day work. Some of the topics discussed during the training are “Protection from discrimination because of race, ethnicity, language, “Hate speech”, “Discrimination in Public Administration”, “Denial of reasonable adaption, discrimination test”, etc.
This was a very fruitful training, within the framework of exchanging best practices and experiences between the two institutions, and the institutions and trainers as well.
